What’s he doing? At twenty-six months he may like to build things, or do other constructive activities like dressing up or tucking his toy rabbit into bed.

How can he communicate? He can understand more concepts now, like the difference between big and small. His vocabulary range has grown rapidly to around 200 words and he can string short sentences together.

How you can help Encourage him to attempt more difficult puzzles and jigsaws by taking it a small step at a time. Don’t give him a big jigsaw straight away but start off with a four-piece, then an eight-piece and so on.
