RE: I had a scan at 7 weeks following an ectopic pregnancy I suffered last year. My midwife told me today I will not be offered a 12 week scan and won't be scanned again until 20 weeks. I feel it is far to long to wait to see my baby - the 7 week scan didn't show much so I now feel I am really missing out I thought a 12 week scan also checked for downs syndrome and if the baby is growing properly. Is there anything I can do about this or is this normal practice? Thanks Wendy ( 10 and a half
