By askamum

A brand new multi-sensory retail experience will open doors to shoppers today as Kiddicare launches a flagship store in Nottingham.

The store, at Castle Marina Retail Park, has family-friendly features and technology for you, and your little ones to enjoy.

What's inside?
A state-of-the-art 33,000ft² space with over 3,000 of the very best baby and toddler products including over 250 car seats and 350 push chairs, buggies and travel systems – everything new parents need all under one roof. Every aspect of the store is thoughtfully designed to make parenting easier, smarter and happier.

Kiddicare Brand Director and mum of two, Elaine Weavers Wright, says: “We listened to our customers - real mums, dads and grandparents - and created more than just a shopping experience. We’re putting the excitement back into parenting by making it easy and fun to get great product, at a great price with great service, plus a little retail theatre thrown in.”

• Children’s soft play area
• Quiet nursing room with upholstered nursing chairs
• Spacious Kiddicafe with healthy-bite options

New look and feel
Not only are we launching our newest baby superstore, we’re also unveiling our new brand identity. It’s all about the fun of having a baby. Pops of confetti colour and cheeky signage punctuate this amazing space while super-cute baby imagery will make you smile. At every turn you’ll find delightfully quirky touches like bib bunting and animal height charts. We’ve even commissioned our own in-store soundtracks (toddler-approved, naturally).

New technology
Kiddicare Nottingham is a happy place to be. It’s also a smart place to be. We know our customers are tech-savvy so we’ve installed new touch-screen kiosks with barcode scanning and browse & order functionality; digital signage; electronic shelf-edge labels for immediate discounting and fast and secure free guest wi-fi. Not to mention a bank of PCs to check you’re getting the very best deal. Plus there’s a handy Click & Collect option if it’s more convenient to shop online or mobile and just swing by to pick up your goods.

New friends
At the heart of our new identity is a focus on togetherness. We’ve designed the store as a social ‘hub’ with the Kiddicafé alongside our children’s soft play area, with plenty of space for mums and families to hang out, make new friends and share parenting tips. We’ll have a weekly roster of events in our Baby Event room ranging from safety sessions to baby showers. It’s a community thing!

New website features
We’re delighted to announce another new arrival, our fab new Baby Gift List, a complimentary gift registry service that takes the guesswork out of gift-giving. New parents plan their wishlist online or in-store (our advisers are on hand to help) then share with friends and family.

We’ve also added a library of helpful new buyer’s guides to make navigating the world of baby products as easy as A, B, C. And we’re continuing to add to our bank of 3,500 product information videos, not to mention our 145,000 product reviews written by people who know best – parents.

Kiddicare CEO, Scott Weavers Wright, said: “It’s an exciting new journey we’re on. Our multi-channel services let our customers engage and shop with Kiddicare whenever, however, wherever they want: online, in-store, via kiosk, mobile or app. We really are shaping the future of the UK baby market, helping parents and families on every stage of their journey.”
