Remember, remember the 5th of November 2009 and watch some fantastic fireworks displays. Keep a look out in your local area for community bonfire gatherings, but if you want to see some of the largest displays in the country then why not visit one of the festivities listed below.
1. Leeds Castle
Named 'the greatest firework show on earth', this is one of the country's finest displays. Choreographed to music and enjoyed by around 15,000, its popularity owes to its magnificent castle setting. It's pricey, but includes admission to all rides and entertainment. The theme for 2009 is traditional circuses.

2. LEGOland
One of the most spectacular displays in the South-East of England. The hugely popular event runs over 6 nights and the theme this year is the Mummies Curse - Indiana Jones. Admission also includes entry to LEGOland so you can make use of a full day of activities.

3. Blackheath Common
Arguably the most impressive and most anticipated display in the City. This huge event sees crowds flock across London for a spectacular display. The event is free.

4. Cambridge Bonfire Night on Midsummer Common
This claims to be the biggest free display in East Anglia, attracting around 30,000 spectators each year. The bonfire, fireworks and family fun fair are all free.

5. Drayton Manor
If you’re a theme park lover and want to see some great fireworks, then Drayton Manor has a fantastic display this year. After experiencing Europe’s only stand up rollercoaster, the world’s first stand up tower drop and the Thomas the Tank Engine land, a huge fireworks display will be held in the park at 7pm. This year, Drayton Manor are celebrating their 60th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee so expect an even bigger and more spectacular event. Admission includes entry to the park.

6. The Lewes Bonfire Society Celebrations
Boasting the biggest bonfire celebrations in the country, The Lewes Bonfire Society festivities are notorious for their exciting displays. On the 5th of November the town will be holding six separate bonfires which mark the events of Guy Fawkes attempts to burn down the Houses of Parliament and the burning of Protestant Matryrs in Lewes town centre from 1555 to 1557.

7. Southend Seafront Fireworks Spectacular
Picture the scene of fireworks going off with the backdrop of the sea. Well that is what is in store at Southend this fireworks season with a display happening along Marine Parade. Get down early to enjoy some refreshments and get a good spot to see the lights.

8. Basingstoke Mayor's Charity Firework Fiesta
Taking place in the War Memorial Park and with the backdrop of heroes and villains music, the Basingstoke fireworks display is sure to delight. Jugglers will be on hand to entertain the crowd. Open from 6:30pm the fireworks will begin at 7:30pm. Sparklers are not allowed at this event.

9. Sandown Carnival and Celebrations
As well as live music, fire, pyrotechnics, and floats in the Esplanade, some fantastic fireworks will be lit from the pier at 8pm. Good fun for all the family.

10. West Midland Safari Park's fantastic Bonfire Bonanza
Superheroes is the theme for this year's Bonfire Bonanza. As well as a fantastic firework display set to some of the most famour superhero tunes, the park will continue to show safari Illuminations, the reptile house, twilight cave, seaquarium and creepy crawlies. A number of rides and attractions will have the whole family enjoying this unusual setting for a fireworks display and refreshments will be on offer.

11. Edenbridge Bonfire
Led by the Bonfire Biship, the Edenbride procession will feature traditional bonfire floats, costume walking parties and entertainment. There will also be a 'celebrity guy', whose identity will be kept a secret until the night. So get down there and find out! Previous years guys include Jonathan Ross, Russell Brand, Anne Robinson and Saddam Hussein.
