You will need: A clean basin that is not too deepAs many apples as you wish to bob for
This is an old favourite and one that has stood the test of time. Get a clean bucket and fill it with clean water. (Parents with very small children may not want to fill it very much.) Place some apples into the water and then take it in turns to duck your head in and try and bite an apple. No hands are to be used and the winner is the one who manages to bite an apple. To make is easier make sure you use apples with a stalk

Make enough for each child to have a number of tries.Blindfold each child and spin them around three times. Why not make up a little rhyme for all to chant while they are being spun.Allow the child to wander to the picture and place the cut out where they think it should go.

5. Relay broom races
You will need:As many sweeping brushes, brooms or toy brooms as there are children
