A recent survey of 6,000 mums conducted by Birds Eye Peas shows that a third of mums (31%) are throwing away up to two meals per week because their children refuse to eat them. What’s more, despite spending an average of 20-30 minutes preparing a meal, 33% of mums believe their children still aren’t eating their five a day portions of fruit and vegetables because their kids are filling-up on less nutritional foods.
