We know how important it is for mums and mums-to-be to be able to chat to each other, share experiences and get advice on problems faced when trying to conceive, pregnancy, birth or with a new baby.

Our forums are designed for you to delve in and out of the relevant boards that discuss the issues you need to know about and now we have four great friendly mums to help you get the most out of your forum.

Meet our new moderators:

Sarah Holman

Hi all! I''m 25 years old. I have been married to my husband Lee for 3 and a half years but we have been together 11 years!

We have a beautiful daughter called Megan who is 2 and a gorgeous son called Thomas who is 8 months old. Oh and not forgetting our two cats, Oink and Moo, although Oink strangely behaves more like a dog!

I recently completed a teaching assistant diploma course which I passed with distinction. I am very proud of this achievement as I did this when I was pregnant with Thomas, working part-time and looking after Megan!

When Megan starts school I aim to start my career working with children.

When I start moderating for askamum I plan to bring a lot of support to the mummies, daddies and mums-to-be, sharing advice, stories and having a general natter. I love being a mummy and not only do I love to share my experiences I love to share in other peoples experiences.

Janet Griffin

Hi my name is Janet, I'm 27-year-old and a newly wed. I am mum to a 2 year old boy named Liam and I am currently 6 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. My husband is Phillip and we live in Lincoln.

I work as a finance officer for a local charity and aim to get involved with the askamum community by moderating and providing both the website and community users with a firm but fair approach to moderating.

I come with a wealth of life experience so feel I can contribute to a variety of subjects and also relating to all the new pregnant mums to be.

Gail Roe

I am Gail Roe, I am 33 years old, and I live in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. I am a first time mum to my gorgeous little boy called Lewis.

He is 14 months old. I took voluntary redundancy from my job at the end of last year to be at home all the time to look after my son. I absolutely love it! I miss the buzz of the office and the people (I was a Customer Services Manager) but don't miss the hassle and the hard work...though some would say that looking after a little one is harder work! I have just completed a baby yoga teacher training course, and am in the process of setting up a small group in Wellingborough, as there are no baby classes for anything here.

I am really looking forward to getting involved in the message boards and forums, as sometimes it is so easy to feel isolated being at home all the time. I have used the forums to get lots of good information in the past, being a first time mum it is nice to get advise and have guarantees that you are doing the right thing!

I love to talk, but am a good listener as well and am really excited about spending some time with other mums and hearing their stories and experiences.

Donna Barclay

My name is Donna, I'm 36, Married and a mum to four beautiful children (3 boys and 1 girl).

I'm currently a housewife but I am seeking employment at the moment.

I love spending time with my children, going to the park, going swimming and meeting up with friends who also have children.

I have experienced a lot with all 4 of my children and I have learnt a lot over the years. I am currently trying to write my very own book about how different all 4 pregnancies and births were as well as the experiences of the 3 babies I lost.

I love to laugh and I enjoy being with others.

askamum's community has boards to discuss all aspects of parenting. Whether you are trying to conceive, currently pregnant, or need help dealing with a newborn, right through to baby names, and all things toddler.
