Parker and Broderick welcomed early arrivals Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick, weighing 5 pounds and 11 ounces and Tabitha Hodge Broderick, weighing 6 pounds.

“Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker's side. The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon,” said Simon Halls, the couple’s publicist.

The couple who married in 1997 already have a six year old son, James Wilkie.

But the Sex And The City star had her twin babies delivered by a surrogate mother, Michelle Ross, after having problems conceiving a second child.

Parker, 44, and Broderick, 47, revealed that they were expecting twins by a surrogate mother in April.

"More fabulous girls are joining our SATC family" said Parker’s SATC co-star, Kim Cattrall.

SJP reportedly took a break from filming romantic comedy, Did You Hear About the Morgans? with Hugh Grant to attend the birth of her twins.
