Mother & Baby Magazine have trawled through all the B&Bs and hotels in the UK to bring you the most family friendly destinations. If you missed the Family Friendly Booklet with the March edition of Mother & Baby Magazine, don't worry we've got all the top destinations online for you here.
Editor of Mother & Baby Magazine, Elena Dalrymple, explains why Family Friendly accomodation is so important. "My daughter Kate was six months old when we went on our first weekend away – a huge success, even though she woke up five times a night and I couldn’t bear to leave her in the crèche for more than 34 minutes! When I tried to book a break for us in the same hotel last week, I was firmly told ‘we don’t cater for babies any more’. Good to know – I don’t want to stay there if my children aren’t welcome. As a mum, I need a cot, a highchair and accommodation where children aren’t second-class citizens. That’s why we’ve worked with Mothercare to create this guide. It’s packed with ideas to help you have a fab holiday in Britain and is a reference to some of the B&Bs and hotels that are proud to be family-friendly." Elena Dalrymple, Editor of Mother & Baby and mum to Kate, four, and Tom, 17 months.

RE: Welcome to the Mother & Baby Family Friendly Britain Guide
My baby is now 6 months and I want her now to take formula milk out of a bottle but am having no success! There is plenty of advise in how to breastfeed but not to give up! I've tried all the different bottles/teats with no success. She will take small slurps of juice out of cup but not milk. I've tried letting her just cry (a whole day) thinking she would have to give in, but no, just resulted in her crying to sleep, waking up, etc and being dehydrated, not good in this weather. She enjoys all her foods I'm weaning her but not the milk. Any one have any other tips apart from expressing in bottle, it takes me too long/time consuming with 2yr old as well! Alot off my chest, (excuse the pun), any advise please?!
