Why askamum?

09 October 2007 14:47

askamum is the new site that couples the wealth of advice and information in Mother & Baby and Pregnancy & birth magazines with the first hand wisdom and knowledge of mums and mums to be! From pregnancy to toddlers it covers everything mums want and need to know about the most exciting and rewarding time of your life.

Trying for a baby, pregnancy to birth, babies to toddlers and children up to 5, you'll find everything you need here at UK's leading parenting magazine online - Ask a mum on www.askamum.co.uk!

As a valued Mother & Baby and Pregnancy & birth member we want to make sure your ride over to the exciting new site is as smooth as possible. By following the below steps you can make sure you encounter no additional bumps en route.

Save your old posts
You'll find all of your most recent posts from the past month in the new website, but if you have any old discussions from a few months ago that you'd like to hold on to, now is the time to save them!  Make sure you've saved everything you want to hold on to by Sunday 14th October.

Your post count will not be affected by the move.

Mother & Baby in hibernation
In order to move your most recent posts to the new site, we need to stop new registrations and reduce the number of forums in the messageboards to one: Feedback. This means that when you visit www.motherandbabymagazine.com early next week, you'll be greeted with a page that will take you to the messageboard with only one forum: Feedback.  Information about the new site will be posted here and you'll have the ability to continue posting your feedback as usual.

Remember this is just temporary until we move to the Ask a mum! and no posts from this forum will be moved to Ask a mum.

Check out the new site!

askamum launches the week commencing 15th October!  As soon as the site is live, you can log on to www.askamum.co.uk and check out the new forums area, plus find your forum rooms and recent posts. Your login username and password will remain the same. If you have any problems or questions, please feel free to discuss in the feedback room on Ask a mum, send us an email, or return to the www.motherandbabymagazine.com site to discuss in the Feedback forum.
