Aeryn has 8oz first thing in the morning, then 5 oz to make her breakfast with. she has a sandwich for lunch and some fruit with juice and then her tea of mashed food, pudding then juice. then she has 8oz to go to be on. they reccomend 20oz of milk a day but each baby is different. Aeryn has always been a really active baby and at 9 months shes crawling around and needs energy :) i hope that helped :)

My son is 10 mths now but at 9 mths he was having weetabix and 80z milk in the morning, then he would have a 7mth jar or some homemade mashed food with yogurt and water or juice for dinner, for tea he would have potatoes and veg or jar of babyfood and either jelly or rice pudding and water or juice again. Then he would have 9oz milk before bed at 7pm. Now he's 10 mths he has just started eating more finger foods such as sandwiches, bits of fruit, toast and the occasional chip or two lol......more or less he eats whatever his sister has for tea and his favourite are baked beans at the mo. Just remember every baby is different and what suits one baby doesnt necassarily mean it'll suit another, i found this with both of mine. My son is eating "our" food much earlier than what his sister did, she was well over a year old before i gave her sandwiches and stuff lol

My little boy never ate anything until he was 10 months. I was really worried but because he was breastfed and still is now (he's 14 months) I was told by my health visitor that as long as he was having breastmilk then it didn't matter as it would fill him up to what he desired at that time. Eventually when he did started eating, he ate pureed food and never touched mashed food, and still doesn't have mashed food now. As soon as he got use to eating pureed food i got him straight onto proper solid food. (finger food) some babies skip things and want things earlier then others. if your little one is not interested in foods then my suggestion from experiance is try yoghurts and puree jarred food (then at least your not wasting time and effort cooking things that he wont touch) and if still not interested then go straight to finger foods. just start on things soft and easy digestable. fruits, toast, wotsits, veg, etc. if your not breastfeeding, and he is not taking his usual milk then either change the milk to a different stage or start giving him water or one thing i little boy loved as he wouldn't drink water that much, just dilute a little bit of blackcurrent squash with water and give him that in a beaker. babies get bored with things quite quickly, and when they do they dont want the same thing for quite a while so make sure you give him a variation of foods and flavored drinks. dont be too worried about the eating thing. he will let you know when he wants something.
