My first baby was 9lb 7oz and born naturally (though I did tear!) But my 2nd baby was born by c-section 10 days before his due date as he was breech AND 10lbs 1oz. I seem to be getting conflicting advice about whether or not I need a C-section or aim for a natural delivery. I may then run the risk of the scar tissue rupturing and ending up with an emergancy C-section anyway - just not sure what to do...

Should I have another C-section?

A dilema in deed! I also had big babies - first was eventually a cs after being induced and waiting 32 hours trying to produce 11lb8.5oz. Number 2 - i was induced and given 6 hours to see how things went - then had a cs 10lb this time! Number 3 on its way and I have been told as I have had 2 sections it will automatically be one this time. Scar tissue does slow things up slightly but not enough to complicate things tremendously. Go with what you believe is best for you and the babe. Good luck!

I think only you can make this decission and noone here is really quailified to give you a profession answer. I can still tell you what i woud do: C-Section all the way. I had a C-section for my first he was breech I always wanted a natrual birth, but now I've been through a CS my friends tell me about natrual births, tearing, clamps, other complications probably best not to say on here don't want to scare anyone. If you've already had two large babies I wouldn't risk it go for a c-section. Ok - there be loads of natrual mums out there which would disagree with me. Best of luck with what ever you decide.
