Does the baby move around when you first go into labour?

i only actually felt my baby move once after I had gone into labour, about 10 mins after my waters broke. She did move otherwise, but I couldn't tell. x

when i recently gave birth to my second child, she was moving and kicking around right up until she came out... it was a reassuring feeling but very uncomfortable!!! i didn't realise they moved during labour until it happened! good luck with your labour it will be a wonderful experience!!!

Some do, some don't. I remember being kicked a lot during labour with my third baby - both my waters had broken so there was no cushioning and it hurt! Between contractions he would kick a lot.
