Hi, I have two children, Ethan will be two in September and Oliver is 7 months now. Me and my partner haven’t had a night alone since having Ethan. We don’t have anyone who can babysit our children other than my mum who refuses, saying she can’t have them both even though there is my step dad and my sister who is 15 there to help as well. How can I approach my mum asking her for the last time to help me by minding my two boys? Please help. x x x

If it was me I wouldnt bother asking her.. my mum is exactly the same and it used to really upset me every time, I could never understand why she didnt want to look after her grandchildren her reply to me was always, you had your kids you look after them.. Are you friends with any mums from school who have babysitters?? if they are recommended then trust them.. I dont know about you but I really dont feel like my mum deserves to have grandchildren..!!xx

pDifficult one! Has your sister and step dad also refused? If not, would it be possible for them to talk your mum round?/p
