Does anyone out there know a woman’s rights when it comes to sorting out access with an ex partner? My ex has never been a family man and his visits up until now have always been sporadic. My daughter is 4 now and getting to an age where this will disturb her life dramatically. Help!

If her father's name is on the birth certificate he has parental responsibility, but this is different to access. Where possible, access can be arranged between the parents rather than going to court and have them sort it out for you. My child's father visits once a week and i decided this and it works ok. 'Gingerbread' are great for offering advice
