I had a second degree tear after giving birth 7 months ago. After having stitches, I’ve now got a skin tag on my perineum. The midwife at my checks said this is fine, but I just wondered if other mums have suffered with this and can it be removed?

I did have mine removed after a 2nd degree tear 8 months after giving birth but I was having other complications aswell so when they took me into surgery I requested that they remove the skin tag at the same time. I would mention it to your GP and ask for a gyno referral because my midwife also said that mine was fine.
