I am really worried. I have had unprotected sex and have missed two periods. To my reckoning I could be 7 to 8 weeks pregnant but I have done around 6 pregnancy tests and I am still getting a negative result. After my first missed period I saw my G.P who advised me to do another test as I wouldn’t get a positive result for 21 days after conceiving. I am now into perhaps my 8th week and still no positive result. I even have all symptoms. Please help, all advice welcome.

I am going through exactly the same thing again at the moment and did do 2 yrs ago when i was pregnant with my daughter and i am sure you are pregnant. I have a very low hcg count in early pregnancy and was 8wks when i finally got the + result with my daughter and you sound the same as me lol. I have every pregnancy symptom inc sickness and 8wks since my last period. Dont waste your money on the shop bought pregnancy test inc the early response which will confirm you are pregnant when u have 25mlu of HCG in your body (which is high for me). If you go to a website called Access Diagnostics they do an Early test called Ultra which detects at 10mlu (dont use digital either cos they dont detect til 50mlu!!!) This is the test i used with my daughter. (Dont worry it is perfectly normal to have it low in early pregnancy as the hcg count shoots up after u get the + result). If you are really desparate you could go to your GP and ask for a blood test. There are 2 types the hcg test which is no good cos even the gp test detects at 25mlu and will come back negative, what u need is a quantative hcg test which will measure the amount in ur body. (Just incase you dont know a non pregnant womans hcg count is under 5). I might sound like a know it all but i remember the insanity i went through before and know how i felt back then not knowing if i was pregnant but this time i know i am and just playing the waiting game lol and like to help ease the agony. I just asked a question simular to this. I not had a period for about 50 days, tests show negative. Just want to know one way or the other. Have you been back to the G.P/Nurse? I was debating on going but can't see how they can really help

buy an expensive test such as first responce or clear blue they may work
