I'm a mum of three, with another one on the way. I suffer from depression and I'm taking fluoxetine (an antidepressant) and have been advised to keep taking them while pregnant, but I'm very scared that I'm damaging my baby. Has anyone else had the same experience?

Hiya, i too had 3 kids and was pregnant wiv my 4th , so my situation was identical but the medication i was on was sertraline which i took thru out my pregnancy last year, ur gp would not let u continue taking anything that would harm ur baby but if ur not totally convinced ask to be put on a different medication, one that has been researched on pregnant women more and is known to be very safe but still effective during pregnancy. I'm no expert but i hope this is of some help to u.......good luck and keep fighting it! xx
