I am 27 weeks pregnant and this is my third baby. I get very bad pains before and after sex. I never experienced it with my other 2 pregnancies. I went to see my gp and she told me there is nothing she can do about it and she never heard of it. The pain goes away for one to two days and I can't sit or walk. Does anyone experience the same thing?

I had the same thing with my second pregnancy. And my doctors said the same thing. Until I went to a high risk doctor because both of my pregnancies were high risk and I delivered both preterm babies...anyways he said that it was due to the ligaments holding your uterus. They're stretching and he said it could be because with sex you get a little tense the ligaments are somewhat contracting causing pain. And I couldn't understand it because I didn't have that pain with my first and he told me the famous..."every pregnancy is different" which is so true! Hope this helps. To ease the pain I took warm baths before &/or after sex. And I sometimes used a maternity belt during the day to hold the uterus up so it wouldn't strain so much. This was recommended by him. And it helped lots. xx...KB!
