We have our 3 year old girl in pants daytime, but she is so absorbed in her activities that she will not ask to go to the toilet and frequently wets her pants. She is quite happy to sit on the toilet and have a wee, but only if we prompt her and escort her to the toilet. We know she can ask because she sometimes does at Pre-School (but this is not consistent). She is physically not as strong as other children her age, but we are confident she has good bladder control.
