I want to try for another baby, but have the contraceptive rod in my arm. How long will it take for my period to return to normal? How long should I wait after getting it out before I start trying? How quick can you get pregnant after getting the rod out?

i have the inplant in my arm at the moment, and ive just read the leaflet for you and it states that your periods and normal fertility will return quickly and its possible to get pregnant before you even have your 1st period. i know someone who caught pregnant within 2 weeks of havin her inplant taken out. my nurse also told me that as soon as its taken out you can fall pregnant straight away.so basically you dont have to wait any certain time u can start trying straight away.good luck to you .
