I came off the pill (microganim30) in February this year and I still have not got my period. It has been nearly five months! I am trying to get pregnant as well, but haven't yet. How long does it take for your periods to get back to normal and could I be infertile?

hiya i have been on the same pill as you for the past 10 years. i came off it in june and have not had a period either. If id of know it takes that long for the pill to get out of your system i would have stopped taking it a long time ago and used condoms instead!! We are trying to conceive our first child and although its only been 2 months i know how u feel. hope u get pregnant soon hun chelle xxx

it can take up to a year for your period and everything to sort itself out, remember when your on the pill your not really having a period either,it's a fake, i came of the pill a year and half before we tried and i fell within 3 months, so don't been downhearted, your probably not infertile, but the pill does take a while to get out of your system, my daughter is 6 months and we want to start trying for another at the end of the year. so i won't even go back on the pilll now ! good luck, and try to relax xx

Hold on in there and our time will come Hope this helps and puts your mind at rest.
